ACCOMMODATION
It is advisable to reserve rooms as early as possible. No rooms can be reserved unless complete credit card details are sent to AIM Group Baltic. AIM Group Baltic cannot guarantee availability later than 40 days prior to the conference. We will, however, make every effort to comply with your request.
There are going to be shuttles organized from listed hotels to the conference venue and back.
The following prices are in Euro per room per night and include breakfast and VAT.

Please note that all reservations are based on a first come first served basis. If the hotel of your choice is not available at the time of booking, the nearest alternative will be allocated. AIM Group Baltic will, however, make every effort to comply with request.
Credit Card Guarantee
The credit card information you provide with regard to accommodation will be used towards the hotel as well as to AIM Group Baltic to guarantee your room reservation. In case of no-show, arrival after the reserved date, or departure before the reserved date and cancellation, AIM Group Baltic or the hotel may charge your credit card with the amount corresponding to the full stay requested. Payment is made directly to the hotel upon check-out.

TRAVEL
The fastest and most comfortable way to travel to Lithuania is by plane. Flights operate between Vilnius and most European capitals. Vilnius airport is 5 km south of the city centre. There are two banks and 3 ATMs located in the airport. The website of Vilnius airport you will find here.
VISAS
Lithuania belongs to the Schengen Area. EU nationals holding a valid national ID card are not obliged to have a passport when coming to Lithuania. Otherwise, passport valid for at least three months beyond length of stay is required by all other non-EU citizens.
For detail information about travel documents or visa requirements, please go to the website of the Migration Department under the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
Citizens, who need a visa to enter Lithuania, please contact the nearest embassy of Lithuanian as early as possible (minimum 1 month) prior to your intended travel date to Lithuania. Citizens of certain countries can apply to the diplomatic missions and consular posts, which represent Lithuania. Please consult the list of countries. FROM THE AIRPORT
All conference participants will be met at the airport. Guests are kindly asked to send their flight number, arrival date, time and your hotel name to Ms. Živile Starkevičiūte at travel2010@mruni.eu .
If you would like to reach your hotel individually, you could take a taxi. Taxis waiting for passengers can be found outside the arrival terminal, next to the sidewalk. Taxi ride to the hotel will cost around 30-50 Lt (15 Eur).

NATIONAL CURRENCY
The national currency is the Lithuanian Litas (LTL). The exchange rate is 1 EUR=3.4528 LTL. You can exchange currency in almost all banks. There are two banks located in the airport. The commission rate for currency exchange is 2 litas. Please note that most banks are only open on weekdays until 17:00.
CLIMATE
The weather in Lithuania in summer is mild and rather warm. The average temperature is 17- 25°C in June. Please be prepared for occasional showers.
